The chemical revival
Anthranilic acid is an essential building block molecule for many industries. Anilines, carboxylic acids, phenols, salicylates: the diversity of chemical syntheses based on this intermediate is vast. Pili has the expertise to develop all or part of the synthesis pathways from this intermediate to colorants, pigments, fragrances, flavors and other aromatic compounds, all based on the principles of green chemistry.
In addition to this first biobased compound, Pili is continuing to develop other mono- and polyaromatic molecules. Our ambition is clear: to become the leader in the large-scale production of biobased aromatic compounds, paving the way for a significant decarbonization of the chemical industry and our everyday lives.
